I’ll tell you why this hit me so deeply recently.
The other day, I randomly decided to take my daughter to the library. It’s not part of our usual routine at all. No agenda, no productivity goal, no expectation. We ended up playing with this little toy train set they had set up there for almost an hour. Just laughing, being present, fully in the moment.
And honestly, it felt so good.
As we were walking back home, the woman who lives downstairs stopped us and asked if my daughter liked toys. A minute later, she came back with a whole bag… full of train sets. Like, multiple trains.
I just stood there like..
oh my God.
It clicked instantly: my daughter (IS A MASTER MANIFESTOR lol) she didn’t try to manifest anything though. She didn’t force it. She didn’t visualize or affirm or worry. She just enjoyed herself. She played. She was present. And life responded.
That tiny pattern interrupt, doing something out of routine, moving with joy instead of obligation, opened a door.
That’s how God works.
That’s how life speaks back to us.
So if you’re feeling stuck, tired, or a little hopeless, I want you to know this: you’re not broken or behind. You might just need a small shift in movement and perspective.
Invite God into your day differently.
Let yourself be surprised again.
